to applications that extend the emulator's use in the field or the lab.

BHCheck33
|

The Blackhawk driver verification utility (BHCheck33) is designed for CCStudio v3.3
installations. This read-only utility will scan the user's system and verify
that the Blackhawk emulation files are up to date with those files installed for
CCStudio v3.3.
This utility checks for the following:

A valid, non-DSK CCStudio v3.3 installation

CCStudio v3.3 Service Release level
-
Blackhawk v3.3 Drivers are installed
-
Verify the evision of Blackhawk drivers match CCStudio
Upon analysis, the utility will make recommendations, such as:

Install a FULL, non-DSK copy of CCStudio v3.3

Install Blackhawk Emulation Drivers
-
Update Blackhawk Emulation Drivers to revision matching CCStudio
-
Nothing- you are up to date.

BHDetect

The Blackhawk Detection and Analysis tool (BHDetect) is a read-only program that
will scan and analyze your system for errors. Errors can be related to missing
files, incorrect file revisions, CCSetup issues, emulator device drivers, etc.
BHDetect will report its findings into a log file. This log file can be sent
to Blackhawk for further examination and proposed solutions to issues you may be
experiencing.
The latest version of BHDetect can be downloaded from the link below, which is updated
as new versions are released.

BHLoader

The Blackhawk Program Load Utility (BHLoader) is a standalone program that allows
you to load and run an executable COFF (.out file) via Blackhawk emulator to a target
board with a TI DSP. BHLoader does not require CCStudio.
BHLoader can be used as a verification tool, loading specific programs starting
from development and continuing all the way to production test.

BHProbe

The Blackhawk Emulator Probe Utility (BHProbe) is designed to test communication
to the Blackhawk emulator from the PC as well as test the scan chain of the target
board without Code Composer Studio.
BHProbe aids users in determining if they have any operational problems with the
emulator or the target board without involving any CCSetup issues, incorrect file
versions, etc. that can mask the real cause of an error.
Please note that this utility presumes that the emulator device drivers are already
installed.

BHFlashburn

The Blackhawk FlashBurn application (BHFlashburn) is an emulator utility designed
for use with TI C2000 digital signal controllers (DSCs) allowing you to program
the on-chip flash memory of the TI DSCs.
BHFlashburn does not require Code Composer Studio and is compatible with the TI
C2000 Flash API algorithms supplied by TI and used by CCStudio Flash plug-in.
This utility is updated regularly to include programming API files for new devices.

Remote Emulation
Server

The Blackhawk Remote Emulation Server (RES) allows an XDS560-class JTAG emulator
installed in a PC with Ethernet interface to be accessed remotely over a local area
network (LAN) from other PCs running Code Composer Studio.
The RES software comes in two versions. Remote Emulation Server SE,
the standard edition, supports only Blackhawk XDS560-class JTAG emulators.
The professional version, Remote Emulation Server PRO, includes support for
TI and other third party XDS560-class emulators in additional to Blackhawk XDS560-class
emulators.
